In total, the illustration comprises 14 engraved plates, including 2 frontispieces, and includes several geometric banderols, lettering and endpapers. A very fine copy of this edition published during Racine's lifetime. Provenance: Edgar Brandt (1880-1960), then remained in the family to this day.
