Limited edition of 299 copies, this one of the 16 first copies on japon nacré signed by the artist (n°12). Wallet copy with an original drawing of one of the book's double-page illustrations, two study sketches in black pen on paper (16 x 25 cm and 19 x 26 cm), three complete suites of the sixteen colour lithographs (on silk, japon nacré and Arches vellum), all signed by the artist on each plate. The novel Le Diable au corps was published in 1923. Slight foxing to edges, edges of plates on silk slightly frayed.
