Very fine set on the Dufy-Coquiot friendship, and ex-libris project for Coquiot. He sent him "two small drawings for your ex libris: a small horse stained with ink, another and a crouching naked woman. This one is symbolic! This crouching Truth in a solid position is ready to rise up - to take off, I think it suits you very well. I would add that in my mind it's this Truth that comes out of your books. If you put it there, it will be completely at ease". He was to leave with Paul Poiret for Oran, Taza, Fez and then Marrakech: "We will be received by Pachas, palaces will be opened to us to unknown mortals, we will be given Fantasias, couscous of honour and of course watercolours, watercolours, watercolours everywhere... and when I return there will not be a drop of water left in Morocco the watercolourists who venture there after me will have to wait for the next rainy season"...
