RARE BABYLONIAN TERRACOTTA HEAD OF MARDUK WITH HORNED TIARA. Ca. 800 - 700 BC. A terracotta head of the god Marduk displays idealised facial features with a bulging beard, straight nose, almond-shaped and concave eyes, likely once inlaid, and a distinctive elongated eyebrow.
