RARE BACTRIAN GOLD AND LAPIS LAZULI VOTIVE OBJECTS.
Ca. 2nd millennium BC.
A pair of gold pins, each with a long, slender shaft tapering towards a pointed end. The terminals are carved from deep blue lapis lazuli in the form of adze-axe heads, featuring a broad, flat cutting edge opposite a vertically oriented blade.
