RARE EGYPTIAN FAIENCE NECKLACE - WEARABLE New Kingdom - Late period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A necklace composed of two main strands featuring tubular-shaped faience beads in a blue hue characteristic of New Kingdom productions, alternating with seed-shaped carnelian and gold beads. Between the two main strands are situated Djed-shaped beads made from gold and inlaid with stones. This piece exemplifies the typical craftsmanship of the late Pharaonic period.
