RARE TUNISIAN OR LIBYAN SWORD "Barbaresque sword with large triangular brown horn hilt decorated with chased silver plates with floral motifs. Strong single-edged straight blade with central rib, European, second half of the 18th century, decorated with a sun and moon with faces embellished with stars and foliage. Wooden scabbard covered in red morocco with silver-plated brass trimmings and trimmings decorated with floral interlacing and almond-shaped four-petal motifs. (Wear, small dents and deformations to the bolt). Tunisia or Libya, 19th century, and Europe, second half of the 18th century for the blade.
