RARE GNATHIAN PYXIS WITH LAUREL MOTIF BY THE ROSE PAINTER Ca. 330 BC. A black-glazed terracotta vessel with painted designs in reddish-brown, white, and yellow hues. The spool-shaped body features a domed top, a tall, slender neck, and a distinctive handle. Decorative patterns include vertical striped sections and horizontal bands of floral and geometric motifs.
