RARE INDUS VALLEY STEATITE DOUBLE SEAL WITH ZEBU AND HOUND Ca. 1000 BC. A steatite seal of concave-sided rectangular form, engraved on one face with a striped zebu bull shown in profile, bordered by a continuous chevron pattern. The opposite face depicts another quadruped, possibly a hound, encircled by what could be a snake, with each corner filled by incised semi-circles.
