Rare complete reversible liturgical ornament in cream moiré gros de Tours and Persian brocade, circa 1860-1880, gold-spun brocade and coral, cream and green silk with a small floral design, the orphreys and edges trimmed with a yellow silk braid decorated with floral uprights. Coordinating stole, manipule, purse and pall edged with the same braid; the chalice veil with the Maltese Cross enriched with a fine matching crest. The reverse in cream moiré gros de Tours edged with the same braid, (small accidents only on the white side). RMH
