Rare gilt bronze and black patina bronze bust clock black patina, depicting Athena in profile, wearing her breastplate adorned with the head of a winged Gorgon. The dial, with Roman numerals, inscribed in her helmet as a warrior goddess. It stands on an ormolu base on four chiselled chased toupie feet. Empire period. Height 38 cm - Width : 16.5 cm - Depth : 11.9 cm. (Some wear and patina).
