RARE PHOENICIAN GOLD RING WITH HORSE Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A gold signet ring with a flat-section hoop. It has slightly expanding shoulders and a large oval bezel. The face of the bezel is engraved with a figure of a horse. Above the horse, a plant-like motif, resembling a palm tree emerges. The bezel is further decorated with a series of small, repeated decorative lines, creating a patterned border around the engraved area, reminiscent of a rope or chain pattern.
