RARE SARDINIAN BRONZE SEATED GOD ON THRONE Ca. 1300 - 800 BC. A cast bronze figure of a seated deity on a high-backed throne. The figure has elongated limbs and a stylised head with simplified features, the right hand resting on the thigh and the left holding a small circular vessel. The throne is flanked by zoomorphic projections that rise along the sides and frame the figure. Size: 50mm x 40mm; Weight: 40g Provenance: Private UK collection; from the private collection of Mr. R.
