Terracotta santon statuette, enhanced with gouache. Represents a woman in the round, bent over, peeling potatoes in a salad bowl held between her knees. A basket of potatoes rests at her feet. The whole is on a small grassy knoll, acting as a pedestal. Incised handwritten signature on the back: "R.MARTIN".
