A treasure trove of folklore and the history of jurisprudence". - Faber du Faur 702 "This is not a work of jurisprudence but a collection of curiositi, such as strange cases, ancient statutes, etc., correctly characterizised by Waldenberg in the 'Allgemeine Deutsche Biographie' as 'in das Gebiet der Curiosa gehörig'. - Title page in red and black, some pages slightly stained and browned.
