Edition of 291 copies, this being one of the 16 first copies on old japon (n° 2), with a copper plate inserted in the upper spine, the original drawing by Charles Martin for the frontispiece, and 79 plates of suites of various states (in black, in colour with remarks and colour breakdowns). A fine copy in a sober and elegant binding perfectly executed by Marot and Rodde.
