FRAGMENTARY SANDSTONE RELIEF
Egyptian art, Ptolemaic period, 332-30 BC
Fragmentary scene in slight relief depicting a procession of two female deities walking towards the right, each dressed in a long, tight-fitting dress, adorned with an ousekh necklace, holding an ankh cross in their right hands and an ouadj papyrus sceptre in their left. In front of them are the remains of a third figure that has all but disappeared.
Visible cracks and restored fractures.
