RELIQUARY OF THE TRUE CROSS in the form of a pendant cross, containing a fragment of the True Cross between two pieces bevelled colourless glass with a silver filigree in silver filigree. The mount is sealed with the episcopal seal of Mgr Sébastien-Michel Amelot de Chaillou, bishop of Vannes (1774 - 1790). 18th century. Height: 6.2 cm - Width: 3.4 cm (Minor accidents and visible missing parts) Relic approved by the Sacred Congregation des indulgences et des sacrées reliques with authentic issued in Rome, dated 4 February 1751, signed by M. fr. Silvestre Mérani, lord bishop of Porphire, prefect of the apostolic sacristy and assistant to the pontifical throne. Verified on 16 April 1787 by Mgr Sébastien-Michel Amelot de Chaillou, Bishop of Vannes.
