Thanks to friends who have given me a Sword Booklet of thanks - Comité de l'épée NRF, 1955 Autograph signed letter "to Jean Reytinas in friendly memory of Jean Cocteau * 17 October 1955". The sword worn by each member of the Académie is donated thanks to a subscription from friends of the recipient, a group known as the "Comité de l'épée". After the award ceremony, a few days before the reception ceremony under the dome, the members of the committee receive a thank-you booklet. Here is an autographed copy, with a few verses by the poet. Jean Cocteau was received under the dome on 20 October 1955. (Traces and foxing).
