First collective edition, partly original. It was barely a year after Remy Belleau's death that Mamert Patisson published this edition. The first volume contains the Amours et nouveaux eschanges des pierres precieuses, the two days of La Bergerie and the Apparences celestes by Arat. The second volume contains the translation of Anacreon's Odes and Belleau's petites inventions et autres poésies, much expanded from the 1574 edition, as well as a comedy. Le Tombeau de Remy Belleau (6 f.), which closes this collection, is composed of Greek, Latin and French pieces by Dorat, Ronsard, Baïf, Desportes, etc., as well as a comedy. The title page of the second volume reads as follows: Les Odes d'Anacreon... traduictes en François par Remy Belleau. Avec quelques petites Hymnes de son invention, & autres diverses poesies : Ensemble une comédie. A very fine copy in an attractive binding by Niedrée.
