This box ended up in my collections one day: no one had ever opened it. On the occasion of its centenary in 1992, I opened it and set about developing one of these plates, which had remained untouched for a century. The result showed me that after a hundred years, virginity is relative... and can become a work of art", bearing the number of the negative, the photographer's wet stamp and the aforementioned blue label stuck to the back of the mount.
