Antique replica of a Standard of the 7th Regiment of Mounted Chasseurs, 1st Empire period. Bronze eagle 190 mm high. Mouldings in two parts attached and welded. Legs not attached. The eagle rests on a thunderbolt. The whole resting on a base marked with the number 7. The eagle is mounted on a blue painted wooden staff with a tricolour flag painted with imperial motifs and bearing the inscription "L'empereur Napoléon au 7ème régiment des chasseurs à cheval". On the reverse are the mentions of the battles of Eylau and Polotsk. Flag surrounded by gold cannetilles. Tricolour tie with replica insignia of the imperial army stores, number 7 and brass chasseurs' horn. Very beautiful historical souvenir of the 1st Empire (Wear and stains). Total height: 225 cm.
