Representative Baroque silver centrepiece. Oval, slightly recessed mirror decorated in relief with a scenic depiction of Demeter with cornucopia and ears of corn and Cupid flying a dove in front of a wooded landscape. The wide rim with a pinched edge lavishly decorated with flowers, bundles of fruit, a dove and a fruit basket, framed by scrollwork. Monogr. "A. H. B." on the reverse.
