Representative signed Charles X-Surtout de Table by Louis Stanislas Lenoir-Ravrio
5-piece; finely chiselled and fire-gilt bronze and mirror glass. Body of straight, moulded bars with applied rosette and palmette motifs and corresponding curved bars on the demilune-like side elements. Circumferential openwork frieze of vines in relief and corresponding foliage, divided by protruding, tongue-like lancet leaves on volute feet. Inscribed Lenoir Ravrio Bronzier Paris in ink below. Louis-Stanislas Lenoir (1783-1846) took over the business from André-Antoine Ravrio in 1811 and ran the workshop under the name Lenoir-Ravrio. Alongside Pierre-Philippe Thomire, he was one of the leading bronziers of his era.
