First edition of these 43 handwritten poems reproduced in facsimile. The illustration is composed of 125 lithographs in red by Pablo Picasso, including 8 hors-texte, the other 117 illuminating the poet's manuscript, including the two covers.
This is one of Pierre Reverdy's major poetic collections, echoing the suffering of the war years and the extermination camps.
Edition of 270 copies on Arches vellum, numbered and signed by the author and the artist.
