[FRENCH REVOLUTION]. Réponse des ouvriers de Paris, à l'Adresse des jeunes citoyens. [Paris], De l'imprimerie des Ouvriers, rue Honoré, s.d. [1795]. In-8, 8 pp. in untrimmed folio. An important and extremely rare document.
It is a response to the Adresse des jeunes citoyens à leurs frères les ouvriers de tous les âges attributed to Jean Thirion, which is reproduced in full as a note in this anonymous tract. On behalf of the "workers of Paris", the author of this Response accuses "the young people" of causing unrest by the beatings, illegal gatherings and shouting matches they engage in.
Handwritten inscription at the bottom of the first page: Pour Cotta.
Margins a little faded with minor tears, some foxing.
