Revue Wagnérienne (La). La Revue Wagnérienne. Paris, Fischbacher, 8 February 1885 - 15 July 1888; 36 issues in 3 vol. in-8, contemporary bradel bindings in white half vellum, brown spine, untrimmed. A very rare complete collection of the 36 published issues of this important symbolist journal founded by Edouard Dujardin. It contributed to the fashion for Wagnerism in France. Several well-known writers contributed to the journal, including Stéphane Mallarmé, who published an article entitled Richard Wagner, rêverie d'un poète français. Other contributors include René Ghil, Huysmans, Catulle Mendès, Stuart Merrill, Fr. Liszt, Verlaine, Villiers de L'Isle-Adam, Jean Richepin, Nerval and Swinburne. The volumes are complete with 7 plates hors texte, including 4 precious original lithographs by Fantin-Latour, Odilon Redon, and Jacques-Émile Blanche (2).
