ZOOMORPHIC RHYTON In orange terracotta, in the shape of a deer, with a long beak forming the animal's snout. The body forms the belly, with a short tubular neck at the back. Amlash, 11th-11th century BC Provenance: Former Dr. Djafari Collection, Kaiserslautern (1900-1981), Germany. An Amlash terracotta rhyton in a form of a stag. In the shape of a stag, with a long beak forming the muzzle of the animal. The body forming the belly, the neck located at the back of short tubular shape. The rounded handle is attached to the neck and ends at the hindquarters of the stag. 9th-8th century B.C.
