One of the finest mycological atlases of the 19th century, describing 229 species of mushrooms that are sought after for food or are poisonous. It consists of an atlas of 72 colour plates, lithographed after drawings by Charles Richon, and a monograph by Ernest Roze, illustrated with 62 engravings in the text.
A fresh, well-bound copy. Spine slightly faded, minor spotting.
