It reproduces the autograph manuscript of the famous letter to Paul Demeny, which passed through the hands of Darzens, Henry Saffrey and the bookseller Jean Hugues, before finally being purchased by the French State in 1998. Frontispiece: photographic portrait of Rimbaud as a young man, based on the only known proof.
