RITUALE ROMANUM. Pauli V. Pontificis Maximi Jusso editium. Nunc vero a SS. D. N. Benedicto xiv. auctum &, castigatum. Venetiis [Venice], Franciscum ex Nicolao Pezzana [Francesco Pezzana], 1771. In-8° bound in full brown basane, spine ribbed and gilt, double frame of vegetal roulettes and central oval motif decorated with floral motifs and fleurons stamped in the centre of the boards, all gilt, endpapers of dominoté paper (Period binding in the taste of the 17th c.). 216 pp, [4] pp. text in Latin, printed in red and black. A fine copy of this liturgical book bound with the arms of the Order of Friars Minor (Franciscan order). Provenance: Edgar Brandt (1880-1960), then remained in the family to this day. Good condition. According to the traces of use, this book was actually used for religious sacraments. Binding: Stains, rubbing and scratches to boards.
