Evening dress by Mme Bouvier Chalon, 12 rue François D... (?) Lyon, circa 1905, Cream satin veiled with black lace decorated with peonies and flowers, appliquéd with velvet ribbons. Pointed bodice emphasised by a rhinestone buckle with puffed half-length sleeves at the top, slit boat neckline edged with cream chiffon and lace flounces. Matching skirt with short train (a few small holes in the lace but good condition).
