Elegant modified dress by Henry Paray, Cannes, late 19th century, Set in a beautiful shifting green and black silk vermiculated and strewn with leaves. Bodice with whalebone stand-up collar and gigot sleeves. Matching skirt with green taffeta sweater (stain on bottom). The bodice is covered in black satin with cream lace trim in front and back, circa 1900-1905.
