Introduced in 1959, immediate successor to the first original GMT-Master version Ref. 6542. This gold version did not feature crown guards for few years. These transitional models are sought after by fine collectors and are not easy to find in watches auction block. This very fine example is in a very nice condition, beside its style and wearability, it should represent a good value over the medium and long term.
