*Rolex, very rare "Red Submariner", ca. 1973. Stainless steel. D 40 mm. Rolex introduced the first Submariner with date in 1969, i.e. the Ref. 1680. Only the early production models had the dial featuring "Submariner" in red. Over time, the luminous material on the dial and hands of these models obtained an attractive cream-colored patina.
