A precious copy by Maurice Rollinat, prepared for the second edition published in 1883 and crammed with 16 new handwritten poems. A handwritten note bound at the head specifies that the handwritten pieces are sometimes in his own handwriting, sometimes in that of his wife. Marie Sérullaz. The note is in the hand of the director of La Revue du Berry, Joseph Pierre (1862-1936), to whom the volume was given by the author's mother in gratitude for the brochure written in Rollinat's defence after his death.
