ROMAN BONE CINERARY URN DECORATED PEDIMENT. Ca. AD 100 - 200. A bone pediment from a cinerary urn with a moulded cornice and a dentil band along the base. The sloping sides meet at an apex, and the corners are finished with acroteria. The tympanum shows a frontal head flanked by scrolling tendrils. For similar see: Museum of Bologna, inv. 19083.
