ROMAN BRONZE BULL FIGURINE
Ca. AD 1 - 200.
A bronze figurine of a bull, freestanding on four short, sturdy legs. The head has pronounced brow ridges, incised facial lines, and forward-projecting horns. Small ears are set back behind the horns. The neck is thick and merges into a broad, rounded torso that narrows slightly towards the hindquarters. A small perforation is drilled through the upper back, likely for attachment or suspension.
