ROMAN BRONZE HORSE-SHAPED BROOCH
Ca. AD 200 - 500. A bronze brooch in the form of a stylised horse depicted in profile with clearly delineated legs, arched neck, and short, upright mane. The body is decorated with incised geometric patterns, including dots and lines along the harness and saddle area. The reverse side retains mounting elements: two projecting loops and a rounded catchplate. For similar see: M.
