ROMAN BRONZE LEGIONARY EAGLE ON A DECORATED HIGH PODIUM. Ca. AD 100 - 300. A bronze eagle perched on a tall podium. The bird sits upright with folded wings and a short, hooked beak, its feet planted on a narrow transverse bar. Each face of the podium bears an incised branching spray within simple borders.
