ROMAN BRONZE STATUETTE OF MERCURY
Ca. AD 100 - 300. A Roman detailed cast bronze statue of the god Mercury. He is represented standing in a counterpois position with stylised muscles. Mercury is depicted wearing a winged petasos and a chlamys that is draped over his shoulders and one of his arms. The figure is also holding a large patera in his right hand.
