ROMAN COPPER STATUETTE OF ZEUS OR POSEIDON Ca. AD 1 - 300. A copper figurine depicting a standing male deity, likely Zeus or Poseidon. The figure is shown bearded, with wavy hair swept back from the forehead. One arm is extended forward, the other lowered and holding a vertical object. Drapery falls across the left shoulder and around the waist, leaving the chest and right shoulder bare. For similar see: J. E.
