ROMAN GLASS BOTTLE.

An aubergine-coloured glass bottle of globular, squat form on a dimpled base with a pontil mark. The sloping shoulder rises to a short cylindrical neck surmounted by a pronounced collar and a broad everted mouth with a rounded rim.
Size: 90mm x 70mm; Weight: 70g.
Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired from a Belgian collection (1980s-1990s).
