A pale blue glass candlestick unguentarium with a bell-shaped body that narrows into a long cylindrical neck, terminating in a wide, outward-flaring rim.

Provenance: Private UK collection, acquired on the US art market; Ex. Estate of Peter H. Tillou, CT., acquired in the 1990s, to family by descent. An early 20th-century collection label affixed to the base, inked: “299, 738 303 Ms. J. K. Tauman”. Collected in the early 1900s.
