ROMAN GLASS COSMETIC FLASK WITH HIGH ARCHING HANDLE.

A pale green translucent glass unguentarium with an elongated body rising from a broad discoid foot and flaring to a funnel mouth with a folded rim. From the shoulders short trail handles rise to the rim, overlaid by a further trail forming a high arch.

Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired from a Belgian collection (1980s-1990s).
