ROMAN GLASS DOUBLE UNGUENTARIUM. Ca. AD 200 - 300. A glass double unguentarium composed of two elongated, cylindrical vials fused along their length. Each chamber tapers slightly towards the rounded base and is encircled by a continuous spiral trail. The flaring rims are folded and slightly uneven. Two applied handles extend from the rims to the upper section of the bodies, curving outward before reattaching. For similar see: The Michael C.
