ROMAN GLASS PEAR-SHAPED UNGUENTARIUM.

A pale green translucent glass unguentarium with a pear-shaped body resting on a rounded base with five shallow ribs radiating from a concave underside. The body is constricted into a short neck rising to a wide funnel mouth with a broad rim.
Size: 100mm x 70mm; Weight: 95g.
Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired from a Belgian collection (1980s-1990s).
