AD 50 - 150 A gold ring with broad shoulders decorated on the exterior with incised chevron motifs and a hoop tapering to a slender rounded band at the back, fitted with an oval mount set with a red jasper intaglio engraved with winged Cupid standing beside an upright club, one arm raised towards his face. Size: D:18.75mm / US: 8 3/4 / UK: R; Weight: 4.93g. Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of an early 2000s UK ancient art collection; formerly in the collection of G.M., prior to 1996.
