ROMAN MARBLE HEAD OF YOUTH.
Ca. AD 200 - 300.
A marble head of a youth with a smooth, rounded face with full cheeks and a straight nose. The eyes are deep-set, with a slight almond shape, and the lips are gently curved, forming a subtle expression. The head is adorned with a mass of carefully sculpted curly hair, which covers the entire scalp and falls in tight, regular locks.
