ROMAN NICOLO INTAGLIO DEPICTING VICTORY IN HIGH KARAT GOLD RING Ca. AD 1 - 200 . An oval-shaped nicolo intaglio engraved with a standing figure of Victory, shown in left-facing profile, with wings extending behind her shoulders. The intaglio is set in a gold bezel bordered with twisted wire and secured at the top and bottom with rounded caps. The hoop is formed of two thick wires twisted together into a rope-like pattern.
